“Although more clients are well-researched and design-savvy these days, finding the right products to suit their spaces can be time-consuming.

“A key part of our interior design process is sourcing the products and bringing them together in a cohesive way so that the spaces in our clients’ homes are more than the sum of their parts.”

“We focus on sophisticated, luxury interiors that stand the test of time. We have a distinctive style that is classic and quite masculine. I always say that great design is in the details and we work scrupulously hard to get them right.

“We deliver intriguing interiors with rich layers of textures where scale and proportion offer balance and refinement. Throughout our projects, beautiful natural products such as timbers, granite and metals combine with elegant lighting—exquisite chandeliers and accent table lamps. We also use mirrors to accentuate scale along with wallpapers that provide detail.

“Our bespoke furniture pieces are complemented by luscious velvets, relaxed linens, fine wools and antiqued leather. European rugs and accessories complete the look.”

Ben, Hamish and the design team have been acknowledged alongside the big names in the world’s top interior award programmes, which continue to give TRENZSEATER exposure on the global network.

TRENZSEATER has received considerable international recognition on several platforms, as a finalist in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review in London for consecutive years. It is considered throughout the world as ‘the Oscars of the interior design industry’.

Also in London for the 3rd consecutive year he has been a finalist in the SBID (Society of British International Design) award, along with being distinguished for four consecutive years with 5 Honourable Mentions in the renowned International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles.

And most recently in London Ben has been shortlisted for the 5th consecutive year in the International Design & Architecture Awards who celebrate excellence in the interior design and architecture industry on a global scale. Ben also won his category “Global Interior Design Scheme” in the Design & Architecture Awards in 2019 which gives the TRENZSEATER service credibility on an international stage.

Ben says he has been fortunate and honoured to have had the opportunities to engage in the interior design for some of the finest residential properties in New Zealand, and it is these projects which have been selected as finalists in the International awards and have seen Ben’s work published through invitation in “The World’s Leading Design Names” in 2018 and 2019.
