Design Show Australia is the country’s national exhibition event for interior design, architecture and fitouts, and has become known as the industry’s most trusted meeting place for curated and authentic design. The three-day event is held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre and showcases premium brands, manufacturers, suppliers, designers, specifiers and buyers that work across commercial, workplace, hospitality, multi-res and residential interiors. ArchiPro is the Design Show's presenting partner, and this year there is a huge roster of design experts sharing their knowledge and expertise. We’ve chosen 10 that we think shouldn’t be missed.
Adam’s career has taken him to New York, Hong Kong and Singapore where he has led design teams for clients such as Microsoft and LinkedIn. Specialising in contemporary workplace design that harnesses sustainability and inclusivity, Adam balances strategic thinking and creativity to convert visions into reality through conceptualisation and problem-solving.
Through his practice, Jeremy explores the ‘spirit of place’ and the building of things through storytelling and craftsmanship. The desire to create timeless and market-leading design is at the core of all Alexander & CO projects, which provide clients with bespoke outcomes.
Amanda has been instrumental in creating some of the most cutting-edge workplace design in Australia during her time at Woods Bagot. Her vast design knowledge coupled with the comprehensive and innovative approach she takes to projects and clients has placed her at the forefront of workplace design.
Swedish-born Anna-Carin obtained her master’s degree in interior design from the Royal College of Art in London. Since then she has relocated to Sydney and established her studio, Anna-Carin Design Studio, as a leader in high-end Scandinavian interior design. Anna-Carin is also the author of design book Make A Home To Love.
From small hospitality and retail fit outs to large scale residential and commercial projects, Dave has worked his design magic throughout Australia and Asia. Known for his innovative use of colour, space, material and knack for building a strong narrative, the director of Studio Gram has been leading the pack since 2009, when he won Australian Institute of Architects Award for the Advancment of Architecture.
Specialising in the delivery of sustainable homes that balance liveability with environmental initiatives, Madeline is passionate about making sustainable architecture accessible to everyone. Madeline is known for her ability to build trusting and collaborative relationships with Breathe clients and her design outcomes are shaped by passion, tenacity and empathy.
Sydney-based design duo Juliette and Sarah-Jane are known for their singular interpretation of the decorative arts into interior design. Their award-winning practice Arent&Pyke is built upon decades of design expertise and their shared dedication to creating comfortable and sophisticated interiors.
Although YSG Studio was established just two years ago in 2020, Yasmine has driven the multi-disciplinary and architectural design practice forward with leaps and bounds. With more than 15 awards under her belt, Yasmine is a force to be reckoned with.
In his role at ASKO Appliances, Owen’s focus has been on improving people’s health and wellbeing through the integration of beautiful and functional appliances into homes across the globe.
Thanks to a long and varied history of working in the design industry, Richard Munao has developed an eye for spotting quality and craftsmanship – a skill he puts to good use as the founder and managing director of leading designer furniture retailer, Cult Design.
