The rolling hills surrounding the site, the kauri dotted throughout, and the way sunlight drenches the land were the key inspirations behind this new build.
The undulation of the surrounding hills was a primary inspiration for the striking curvature of the home's silhouette.
Slightly curved, anodised aluminium cladding panels were designed with this project in mind - pictured right.
Warmth from natural light and timber was utilised carefully in the design.
The entry library and hallway to the bedrooms.
The warmth of the kauri battens and cork floor is complemented by the bursts of colour in the kitchen.
