Te Moehewa Huihui translates as "the collective imagination", reflecting its purpose as a vessel for exploration and connection.
The site is surrounded by verdant fields and framed by the silhouettes of mountains.
A spacious hallway doubles as a gallery.
The hallway links to bedrooms, living spaces, and a bathroom with an outdoor bath.
Nestled between outdoor living spaces shielded by carefully placed vertical timber battens, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living zone fosters community with high-vaulted ceilings.
The material palette is organic and warm, using thermally modified timber in interior and exterior spaces to deepen the connection between the two.
Indoor spaces flow effortlessly into outdoor areas.
Each element of the home contributes to a warm and inviting spatial experience.
At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
